I went for my second run since I decided to stop being a lazy fat-so yesterday – I say run but the reality of the situation is it was a run/walk.  So I have decided desperate measures need to be taken – I need to re-start my running program that got me into running in the first place.  I’m not going to start from the beginning because I don’t think that I have fallen THAT far behind but I think I am going to start from half way – so on my next run I shall be doing the following:

Week 6:

Walk 5 minutes.
Jog 8 minutes. Walk 3 minutes. Repeat 4 times.
Walk 5 minutes to finish.

Sigh – the road back to Two Ocean is going to be long an tiresome and I don’t know if I am up to it or have the energy.  Meh.

Also there is a heat wave in Johannesburg at the moment which makes running near impossible – I felt like a over heated car after my measly 3.02km run yesterday.  Go away summer, you’re drunk!
