For those of you who don’t know me IRL (In Real Life) I need to inform you of a few things:
1. I DON’T break New Years Resolutions
2. I used to smoke 20+ cigarettes a day
3. Exercise was something other ‘really annoying’ people did.
So this time in December 2011 I was sitting at home in front of the TV (most probably), thinking about how I could just be more awesome, and I decided “2012 is going to be ‘become Heidi Klum’ year” (Yes, I LOVE Heidi, it’s border line obsessive).
I decided I was going to get fitter (I had already started training for Two Oceans by this time) and I was going to stop smoking, as my New Years resolutions.
I am glad to say that this year I ran Two Oceans and I haven’t had a cigarette in 350 days and I don’t plan to be having one any day soon. Oh and I am also only 10-15 kgs away from looking like Heidi Klum (Oh, I’m taller than Heidi, so I’m beating her in ONE department)
So I basically win at keeping New Years Resolutions in a big way…. I mean I gave up sugar in my Tea and Coffee in 201o and managed to drink Tea without sugar in (which is awful by the way) for a whole year
I don’t know what I am going to do for my 2013 resolution yet but when I decide I will blog about it (cos that’s what I do)
