Every Year I either give up something (usually a bad habit) or try to take up something new as part of my New Years Resolution.
It’s easier to give up something or take up doing something (I find) than having some open ended resolution that you cant quite measure the results of.
In 2011 I gave up having sugar in any of my Hot Drinks (e.g. Tea and Coffee). In 2012 I gave up Smoking. And I can’t remember any of the other things I have given up because old age is making me forget things.
This year I was going to do Two Oceans again but, I am having some serious second thoughts about it, I don’t know if I have the time or the will power to put in the amount of training I need to put in to get better times and what not… but that could be a potential New Years Resolution
I guess I still have a few days to think about what I am going to do and what I want to accomplish – I know first and foremost I just want to graduate and FINALLY pass my Financial Accounting exam and get my frikkin’ degree already (I already have a list written down for my career but you guys aren’t allowed to see that one yet) – all I know is that 13 may be a unlucky number but 2013 is going to be a very good year for me. I can feel it already
