I think I want to do Two Oceans again, I know I can do it because I have done it before, hell the whole reason I even have this blog is because I started it to document my training program and how I was getting on, it was also to make sure I didn’t back out (which I didn’t, go me)
That being said, I am looking for a great running schedule and a running partner to help push me to get fitter, faster and better – the goal is to do the 21km in between 2:30/2:45, which I feel is more than achievable!
I tweeted that I needed some help getting back into running and Brad Brown responded to me (who is an ultra marathon runner and has done Ironman) and helped me out, you can follow him here
He suggest the following program from Runners World called, “Run your first half marathon” it’s not my first Half, but I feel as if I am starting all over again, so why not train like it?
I plan to start training this coming week!
I am going to use a hashtag for those of you on Twitter who want to follow my progress, the hashtag will be #PunkyDoesTwoOceans2014 (for those of you who don’t know by now, my Twitter handle is @Punkystarfish which explains the “Punky”
I hope you will follow my new journey with me, it’s going to be hard, I am going to want to quit at time and wish I hadnt written this blog post, but I will do it!

But not this time.
She is going down.
